Hi everyone,
I was recently accepted to AA school, and was very excited. In an ideal world, the program sounds fantastic for a pre-med candidate; however, I cant help but to feel a bit of resistance due to the negative AA grad posts, lack of AA jobs posted, and lack of gained ground where AA's can practice. Would any working AA's care to share their experiences? I plan on living in Florida, but I have heard that it is over saturated with Anesthesia providers and difficult to find work, for AA's as well as CRNA's. Not sure if the people complaining of this are just difficult to work with or something? Also, do most grads work for third party vendors, or directly for the hospital? Does anyone think it is worth going back to pursue an RN, then CRNA instead of this route? No matter which way, I am bent on becoming an anesthetist. I don't want to be negative, but it's hard to get a good idea of the future when there is not much out there on the web...
Thanks in advance!
